FAQ & Sizing
Are your papers eco-friendly?
Yes! All our papers are made from mulberry plant fibres — 100% natural, biodegradable, and plastic-free. They’re strong, beautiful, and kinder to the planet.
What sizes are the decoupage papers, and how does the square format work?
Our designs are available in four standard A-sizes:
A3 – 29.7 × 42 cm (11.7 × 16.5 in)
A2 – 42 × 59.4 cm (16.5 × 23.4 in)
A1 – 59.4 × 84.1 cm (23.4 × 33.1 in)
A0 – 81 × 118.9 cm (31.8 × 46.8 in)
Square format uses the midpoint between the two edges of each A-size, creating a balanced square for flexible layout options:
A3 Square – 36 × 36 cm (14.2 × 14.2 in)
A2 Square – 51 × 51 cm (20 × 20 in)
A1 Square – 72 × 72 cm (28.3 × 28.3 in)
A0 Square – not available
What is mulberry paper, and why use it for decoupage?
Although often called “rice paper,” the highest-quality decoupage papers are actually made from mulberry fibres. Mulberry is a fast-growing, renewable plant, and its long fibres create a paper that’s lightweight, strong, and beautifully flexible.
That strength matters: mulberry paper doesn’t wrinkle or tear when glued, and the fibres let designs blend seamlessly into your surface for a smooth, professional finish — even on your first try. It’s the premium, eco-friendly upgrade for any project.
How to Apply Your Decoupage Paper?
For best results, paint your surface white first to keep colours vibrant.
Brush a thin, even layer of Mod Podge (or similar glue) straight onto your surface — no watering down needed.
Place the paper immediately and smooth it gently with your hands. The strong fibres mean it won’t wrinkle or tear.
Once dry, seal with a clear topcoat. Most makers use water-based polyurethane (matte, satin, or gloss), but Mod Podge works well as a sealer for smaller pieces too.
Either way, your design stays vibrant and durable for years.
